I think the boost was a great upgrade and in my opinion the forces you get are stronger and way more consistent than before making it a more enjoyable experience. Than you are probably used to if you have had the wheel base for a while. The FFB setting with the t300rs so long as you have the boost setting on you will be looking at lower in game FFB values I haven't gotten around to trying other sims with the new firmware as of me typing this but it seems that moving foward My current settings with the new boost setting inĪssetto corsa competizione is 35% Over all strengthĭirt 2.0 is 20% on all its force feed back settingsĪmerican truck simulator I also turned it way down but i dont remember my setting this second lol. However I would like to turn down the FFB settings a little on the wheel itself and not in game settings such as AC or PC2. When tuned properly the T300rs has plenty of power so dont think that a value of 30% or 40% is low as in game settings go. How do I download the Thrustmaster control panel Hey guys, I got my first wheel and set it up downloading the drivers for the t150 pro and everything works perfectly in game. If you want more power after that you will need to upgrade to a their bigger models like the TSPC racer or a stronger wheel base such as a direct drive. When this happens you will know you reached the limit of what the T300rs wants to give you in terms of performance. It will feel like the steering wheel gets heavy and numb with a constant buzz. Then slowly increase that value by 5 or 10% until you feel that you are loosing detail when you corner into a turn. The best way is to drive a track you know and do a few laps, start with a low value of 20% Force Feedback, ![]() ![]() To start put All settings up to 100% in the Thrustmaster control panel in windows, Then you can tune your Force feedback per game accordingly. This post is for future reference for those of you tuning your wheels force feedback and aren't sure what to be looking for in settings and or what kind of performance capabilities to expect out of your Thrustmaster T300 rs.
